The tun module does not directly create interfaces like the ethertap
module. Instead, it creates them on the fly as programs open /dev/tun
(or /dev/misc/net/tun if you use devfs). So, you won't see any tun
interfaces until after tinc has been started. tinc runs the tinc-up
script right after it has created the tun interface.
