tap device in w2k without ip address

Hi,

just installed tinc 1.0.3 under windows 2000 server and added the tap
device as usual and configured everything correct. Tinc can establish
the connection, however, the device/interface does not show up with the
assigned IP adress, but only shows 0.0.0.0

Any idea, where to look for?
