Dear developers,
I tried to use tinc on my Windows XP Box wich has Service Pack 2 RC1
installed. I'm using the Tap-Win32 driver from openvpn 2.0 beta2 since
they were the only working drivers. Now here is the errormessage i
recieve when I try to start tinc:
C:\Programme\tinc>tincd -D -n hive
tincd 1.0.2 (Nov 8 2003 14:19:06) starting, debug level 0
Could not get MAC address from Windows tap device
{4913D822-DDD5-4C4B-BDBC-75274
07DA5C6} (VPN): wrong parameters.
Not restarting.
I think this has somehow to do with the new security enhancing code in
SP2, since with SP1 it worked.
Thanks for your time,
Tim Schumacher
