hi I don't have experience at all with networks but I was triyng to install and configure tinc as a platform for multiplayer games that need to be run on a LAN.
The computers run with Windows XP so I followed the example posted in the website for installation in windows.
Everything is pretty clear and step-by-step, but when trying to generate the keys I get the following message:

Cannot open config file C:\tinc/vpn/tinc.conf: No such directory Generating 1024 bits keys:
...................................++++++++ p
..+++++++++++++ q
Done.
Please enter the file to save private RSA key to [C:\tinc/vpn/rsa_key.priv]:

But the I created the files as indicated and they are in the right directory. tinc.conf in C/:tinc/vpn and 'home' in C/:tinc/vpn/hosts

I went to the manual to see if I could find what I was missing but I am stuck. I even tried in a different computer which is running in windows 2000 and is connected to a different LAN but I get stuck exactly in the same point.

Should I have follow any of the previous steps indicated in the manual as preparation. I skip that because as I told you I don't have much experience with this.

Any ideas?
