IDEA: How to change the mesh without changing config files.

You even need extra hosts files for every server, so why make it
complicated? Other idea:
Create 3 internet tinc server names in dns and 3 host files.
Use as much, as you have servers, maybe only 2. Point other dns entrie to
unresolvable IP until you have a server.
Create 3 connectto entries for every server/dns on every client tinc.conf.
As long as one server is available your network will work. tinc does the
rest for you. Only bad thing is, your logfile will show connect messages
to servers which are not available. Ignore them :-)
