Hi,
I have connected various asterisk trough of Tinc VPN and It's works well for
me.
I first would try to connect with an IAX Client and create the IAX trunk
later.
If you have the same IP Address in the Tinc and LAN interface, have you
tried to bind this IP Address to IAX service in your Asterisk?
Best regards,
Ramses

actually at the moment the setup is like this , it has the same ip address ,
both lan and tinc , but iax doesn't work at all , moreover , i want to be
able to make an IAX trunk to the rest of the machines from different
networks together .
what happens is that , asterisk says that the request is sent , but nothing
will be received .
if you want i can try to make a tcpdump tomorrow , and send the result ?
thank you.

Subject: tinc IAX2 problem .
Hi everyone ,
i have a large network , connected together by tinc , and
the whole network is connected so that i can access all the devices through
out the networks simply and easily , but when i try to interconnect my
asterisk servers usin iax , it doesn't work , if i try to register to my
server using the tinc's interface it's ok, the registry is done ok , and the
connection works perfectly , but if i try to connect to the local network
interface , or to another server in a different network , the registry is
incomplete !!!!
though everything else works , (ssh , ping and so on).
does anyone have any ideas how i can overcome this problem?

Can you try to put the same ip address to tinc's interface and LAN's
interface?

Have you installed FreePBX to administer the PBX?
What version of FreePBX and Asterisk have you installed?
