That is not a function of tinc, but the underlaying network layer.

The “problem” might be that you are now have multiple possible IPs for tinc to listen/sent-ou/respond to, which might be a problem at the authentication/tunnel setup point.
So *my* advise would be to setup (between the two endpoints) another ipip/gre tunnel link, and route that from the network level, and then have tinc listen/communicate over that link to provide your security/etc.
