<pre class="moz-quote-pre" wrap="">recently, someone mentioned on the mailing list, they were running tinc on
their phone. May I ask, how this can be achieved? I have an android phone

There is an app for Android made by Pacien Tran-Girard. The homepage is
here: <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://tincapp.pacien.org/">https://tincapp.pacien.org/</a>. It doesn't need root, and it has
documentation as well.
For iOS, I don't know of any succesful app that doesn't require root.
