sorry, the example in that email was the z3770, whereas ours is the z3735
Mine is

vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 55
model name : Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU Z3735F @ 1.33GHz
stepping : 8
microcode : 0x82f
so mine is the same as yours. perhaps other list members can shout out
if theirs is different?
if we're all on the same stepping & microcode, then my theory is busted.
